AAP Minister Slams LG Over Ridge Area Tree Cutting, Exposes Contradictions
AAP Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has criticized Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (LG) for attempting to evade responsibility in the controversy surrounding the cutting of 1,100 trees in the Ridge area. Bhardwaj pointed out that the LG had personally inspected the site, contradicting claims made in the Supreme Court that the visit was for a hospital inspection. The Minister questioned the LG's lack of knowledge regarding the required permissions from the Tree Officer and Supreme Court to cut trees, despite being in office for two years.
