'Absolutely No Official Candidate': Jairam Ramesh On Congress Chief Election
When asked about whether the new Congress President will report to Sonia Gandhi, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh sternly refused. "Absolutely not, the new president will be the president of the party and won't report to anyone," Mr Ramesh said. He said no one is the "official candidate", adding the Congress is the only party which held free and fair elections to its top post.
