It is becoming increasingly clear that lynchings in the name of the cow are not going to stop any time soon. The central government may have set up a high-level committee to study lynchings, it may repeatedly make generic condemnations of violence and send advisories to state governments but the simple truth which stares at us in face after each lynching is that mob attack is linked to political complicity. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot says that he is yet to meet family of lynching victims.
