Activists rue Dalit killing in Maharashtra
The story of a Dalit farmer from Maharashtra whose family was killed by upper caste villagers after he refused to let them build a road through his fields has brought angry reactions from across the country. "The administration willfully destroyed all evidence. The women were raped. We want the accused to hang," said Usha Meshram, Social Activist.
