Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury On Attack On BJP Worker: "EC Should Take Strict Action"
After a BJP worker was killed in an attack by miscreants in Nandigram, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on May 23 demanded that the Election Commission take strict action in the matter. Reportedly a BJP worker died in an attack by miscreants on a few houses on Wednesday in Nandigram. Local BJP workers claim that the assault was perpetrated by TMC members. The Congress MP further stated that If bloodshed is occurring in the presence of the Election Commission and central security forces, then what would happen in their absence?
