The makers of Adipurush — Bollywood's big-screen adaptation of Ramayana - have decided to change certain controversial dialogues of the film after they received backlash for "distorting and disrespecting" the epic. Political parties, actors, filmmakers, critics and audiences slammed the makers for using "pedestrian language" for Gods. The dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla said they decided to "revise some of the dialogues" after the film was criticised heavily for them.
