"Admissions To Be Based Only On Entrance Test Marks": UGC Chairman
College admissions will be based on a common entrance test from now, not Class 12 marks which vary from board to board. "This will do away with the stress of impossibly high college cut-offs, and ensure a level-playing field," the UGC Chairman tells NDTV, adding that it's a student-friendly reform which is being welcomed by most stake holders.
