Advani did not praise Shivraj Chouhan to put down Modi: BJP
The BJP today reiterated that a recent assessment of Gujarat Chief Minister Narenda Modi offered by senior leader LK Advani was not a thinly-veiled attack. Mr Advani said over the weekend that Mr Modi's development of Gujarat is note-worthy; however, he said, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan deserves recognition because he turned around a poor state, while Mr Modi inherited a state that was, in comparison, richer.
