A democratic Afghanistan has collapsed. The Taliban are inside Kabul. They have made a vow not to harass or annoy anyone. The hope is that the power transition will be peaceful. An Air India flight with 129 onboard flew from Kabul to Delhi landed this evening. Former President Hamid Karzai has released a video asking that the Taliban protect women and children. Vishnu Prakash, Former Diplomat, in an interview to NDTV says that "Taliban is a wolf in sheep's clothing, it is a black day in human History, a cruel joke has been perpetrated on the people of Afghanistan".
