Afroz Shah On Cleaning 7,800 Tonnes Of Garbage From Versova Beach
Afroz Shah, one of the architects of Versova beach cleanup, said that his complaint on Versova was to himself and he had taken it upon himself to clean the beach. In the last two years, Mr Shah and his team of volunteers have managed to pluck out 7,800 tonnes of garbage from the beach premises. "The United Nations has termed this cleaning activity as the biggest beach cleanup in history," added Mr Shah.
