After Anger, Haryana Hits Pause On Order Asking For Athletes' Earnings
After widespread outrage, Haryana Government has put its controversial order on taxing sportsperson on hold. The notification dated 30 April, 2018 asked sportspersons to deposit one-third of their income earned from professional sports or commercial endorsements to the Haryana State Sports Council.
