After doctors in Bulandshahr go on strike, a patient dies
Days after the media exposed how cleaners and wardboys were stitching wounds and giving injections to patients in the government hospital in Bulandshahr, the UP government removed the chief medical superintendent suspended the ward boy. Soon after the governments order doctors and paramedics in the hospital went on strike, crippling OPD and emergency services. A 40 year old patient died and his relatives claim that doctors and nursing staff refused to attend to him because of the strike.
