A day after India's cross LoC strike on terrorist launch pads in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, the propaganda war is well and truly being played out. Pakistani media has said that several Indian soldiers were killed in the attack, and they've gone and released footage of captured Indian soldiers - footage that proves nothing at all. Without doubt, one thing is clear, the Pakistani establishment is smarting now that the elephant has finally struck. But the larger questions are: Rather than hoping for more retribution and pushing us to the brink, can anything really be done to de-escalate the situation? Will sanity prevail over egos? Will the sanctity of the Line of Control be genuinely maintained?
