The power of social media has now led to help pouring in for an elderly couple selling home-cooked meals from a tiny stand in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar. A video of the couple who runs a food joint called "Baba Ka Dhaba" has been widely shared on social media. In the video shot by blogger Gaurav Vasan yesterday, 80-year-old Kanta Prasad shared that he and his wife Badami Devi start cooking at 6.30 am and are ready with the day's meal by 9.30 am. Dal, curry, parathas and rice were kept in large dishes, ready to serve for around Rs 30-50 a plate. Today, a constant stream of customers was seen at the eatery. "We are very happy with the number of customers that are turning up now. We are grateful for the public support," Kanta Prasad told NDTV. "When I came here yesterday, I had goosebumps listening to their plight," Mr Vasan, who shot the video, said.
