"Against Violating Constitution": BJP MP On Muslim Quota Row
The BJP said it is not against any community in Karnataka amid the row over Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s purported suggestion of tweaking the Constitution to accommodate 4 per cent reservation for Muslims. BJP members have been raising the issue of reservation for Muslims in government contracts in Karnataka. “We are not against any community but against the violation of the Constitution,” BJP MP and former Karnataka health minister K Sudhakar told NDTV.
