The 2024 Mahabharat is on and all is not well in the Maharashtra alliances. The Maha Vikas Aghadi today developed fresh fissures as the Uddhav Sena unilaterally declared candidates for polls, including on seats that the Congress is keen to contest. Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam blasted the Uddhav Sena for declaring candidates for Mumbai and asked the party leadership to end the alliance. In the Mahayuti, on the other hand, the muscle flexing is on among the allies to corner more seats.
