In today's episode of India Global, India is deploying artificial intelligence in its battle against the world's worst tuberculosis epidemic...where over a quarter of all cases are in India. India has invested millions in a national campaign to curb the disease, reducing its incidence by 18% since 2015. But diagnosing and treating the disease is a complex and lengthy process. That's why Indian non-profit Wadhwani AI has developed a suite of AI-powered tools to assist health workers detect undiagnosed cases, decide on treatment plans, and prevent people from dropping out of treatment.
