AIIMS Starts 'Adopt A Patient' Policy To Help The Needy | Read
The All India institute of Medical Sciences of Delhi has launched a policy called "Adopt a patient," under which people can donate directly to the institute for the recovery of needy patients. Dr Amit Gupta, Media Head of AIIMS told NDTV, "It is a transparent process. People can see which patient they are donating for online... 50 per cent of the patients admitted in AIIMS cannot pay for their treatment."
