Air India pilots call off strike after assurance from management
It was threatening to be yet another crisis for the cash-strapped national carrier Air India when at least 40 pilots of the airline called in sick this morning, allegedly over non-payment of their allowances. However, the pilots called off their agitation by late evening, after the management assured them that their dues will be cleared by March.
