Delhi grappled with alarming pollution levels on Wednesday, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching a severe 441, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). A layer of mist and smog covered the national capital, with reduced visibility in several places. Of the 37 monitoring stations, 32 recorded air quality in the 'severe plus' category, with AQI levels peaking at 480 in several areas. The remaining stations also reported 'severe' air quality.
