Airline industry struggling for survival
Everyone wants a bailout package these days and when it comes to Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal that was likely to be the top agenda when he arrived at the finance ministry on Monday. Goyal may have recently succumbed to political pressure and reinstated sacked employees at Jet Airways but he knows costs are piling sky high. So at the moment, he and his new best friend Kingfisher Airlines chairman Vijay Mallya are exerting some pressure of their own.
