Airlines cancel Kolkata flights ahead of strike

Air traffic to and from the West Bengal capital will come to a halt during Thursday's general strike by CITU, with private carriers and state-run Indian and Alliance Air canceling all flights to the city for the day. However, the flight schedule for Thursday of foreign airlines is yet to be confirmed by the Airports Authority of India.
