Ajit Doval's Comment On J&K: Special Status Under Threat?
On Reality Check, what did National Security Advisor Ajit Doval mean when he said, "another constitution of J&K... is an aberration" and that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's "contribution is not about the merger of states, it is only a means to an end"? Was he referring to the raging debate around Article 35A? The National Conference has immediately asked for the centre to clarify its stand on Article 35A or they say they will boycott the local polls. National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah said that his party will fight "all sinister attempts at interfering with this constitutional guarantee".
