When the Akash Vijayvargiya cricket bat brawl happened, the Congress in Madhya Pradesh asked for the removal of the BJP legislator. But why has the same yardstick not applied when Congress leader Nitesh Rane did the same? Congress lawmaker Nitesh Rane led a 'mud attack' at a government engineer, heckled him, and then with his supporters tied him to a bridge. The justification for this egregious display of political violence was apparently because Mr Rane assessed the road to be in poor condition. Tonight we ask, why can't we have a law to immediately disqualify such errant lawmakers?
