Akhilesh Yadav's "No More Expulsions" Request To Om Birla
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday congratulated Om Birla on being elected the Lok Sabha speaker and said he hoped that actions like suspension of MPs would not be taken as they hurt the dignity of the House. "We expect the voice of opposition will not be crushed and there will be no more expulsions," Mr Yadav said. "We will stand by all your just decisions and expect that it won't just be the opposition under check."
