As part of celebrations of the 25th anniversary of 'Kargil Vijay Diwas', the Indian army organised a 7-day camp to impart training in pistol and rifle shooting to girls in Pallanwal village of Akhnoor district in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Around 50 girls belonging to rural areas participated in the camp in which they were taught basic firing and weapon handling techniques. According to the girls, the training imparted to them will help them in self-defence.
