Aligarh farmers' protest turns violent, 3 killed
Two farmers have died and a police member also succumbed to his injuries at Tappal village, about 80 kilometers from Aligarh, after irate farmers clashed with police. About two dozen farmers were also injured in the clash that started last evening. Farmers of six neighbouring villages are asking for a hike in their compensation after their land was acquired for the Yamuna express highway.
