Aligarh Muslim University Gets Central Funds, Why Only Quota For Minorities, Asks Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has demanded that OBC reservation should be given in Aligarh Muslim University. Addressing a rally for bypolls in Aligarh, he said that since AMU gets a budget from the Centre, there should be reservation for SC, ST and OBCs and not just a 50% quota for minorities. This was his first reaction after yesterday's Supreme Court ruling on the minority status for AMU.
