The suspense over who will succeed Anandiben Patel and be the next Chief Minister of Gujarat will end today after a meeting of BJP leaders in Gandhinagar this evening. Nitin Patel, senior-most minister from the state, is believed to be the party's choice for the post. Tipped to be the 16th chief minister of Gujarat, the 60-year-old told NDTV that his priority would be "to ensure all sections of society are taken into confidence for all-round development of the state."
