All Flagged Content Need Not Be Removed: Expert Over Digital India Act
"That (removing flagged/objectionable content) would not be required. Immunity of companies against prosecution for content posted by third parties is not absolute. To avoid harassment of company owners, Safe Harbour was introduced," Jiten Jain, cyber security analyst, said when asked whether all flagged/objectionable content will be required to be removed by the tech companies when Digital India Act comes into force.
