Allahabad HC admits sugar deal petition
For the country's most controversial politician Amar Singh and top sugar baron Kushagra Bajaj, Uttar Pradesh 's sugar policy is fast turning sour. The Allahabad High Court has admitted a petition which alleges that Kushagra's Bajaj Hindustan Ltd benefited - illegally - from a government policy.
