Alva's resignation accepted
The Congress has accepted senior party leader Margaret Alva's resignation. Alva was a CWC member and Congress General Secretary. She was also a part of the central election committee. Alva was in charge of party affairs in several states, including Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana and poll-bound Mizoram.
