Amar Singh granted bail in cash-for-votes scam
Politician Amar Singh has been granted bail by the Delhi High Court. He has been ordered not to travel outside India, and to deposit surety of Rs. 50 lakh, and a bond of Rs 50 lakh.Mr Singh is currently at Delhi's AIIMS hospital. The Rajya Sabha MP was arrested on September 6 for allegedly bribing three BJP MPs in 2008 to support the government in a trust vote.
