American India Foundation's Livelihood Programme Helped Yasmin Earn A Living
Yasmin lives in Hyderabad with her five children and husband, an auto driver who has not been able to earn for the last two months of the COVID-19 lockdown. Through a livelihood programme by the American India Foundation, Yasmin received training and subsequently work to stitch masks. Stitching of masks did not only help her earn a living to support her family, but will also help protect people who will buy these masks from the coronavirus.
