Amid the nationwide protests led by Indian Medical Association against the centre's to allow Ayurveda doctors perform surgeries, Ayurveda doctors and scholars from the Government Ayurveda Medical College say with proper training and research, they will be well equipped to deal with the surgeries that have now been allowed.
