Amidst rising tensions with Pakistan, calls are growing for a focus on Bangladesh as well with Bangladesh hobnobbing with Pakistan recently. The first to sound alarm bells was Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who said authorities have been alerted. Now BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has called for similar action on the eastern front after India suspended the Indus Water Treaty as part of its diplomatic response after the Pahalgam terror attack.
