Amit Shah To Chair North East Council Plenary Session

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the 72nd Plenary session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) being held at Tripura's capital Agartala today to review the ongoing infrastructure projects and to discuss the roadmap of development of the northeastern states. Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, his deputy Sukanta Majumdar, state governors, chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of all northeastern states will attend the day-long meeting. The Home Minister will also attend a series of other events in Tripura during the three-day visit to the state.
