Amitabh Bachchan Unveils Swasth Box, Pledges To Donate 100 Swasth Kits
At the launch of Banega Swasth India, campaign ambassador Amitabh Bachchan unveiled 'Swasth Box', a kit developed by NGO Smile Foundation to support the health and hygiene needs of the mother for 45 days, a time extremely crucial for both the new mother and new born. Actor Amitabh Bachchan and Celebrity Chef and Nutritionist Sanjeev Kapoor donated 100 Swasth boxes each. The kit consists of hygiene and health essentials including hand sanitiser, bar soap, hand wash, baby blanket, feeding bowl and soup, among others.
