Ten years after the formation of Andhra Pradesh, the bifurcated state remains without a capital. The 10-year period proposed for Hyderabad as joint capital comes to an end on June 2. The BJP-led NDA has promised for Amravati to be declared the capital, while the ruling YSR Congress wants Vishakhapatnam to be next.
