An eventful day for BJP
It was a big day for the BJP, quite literally. The party gave a choice to senior leader Mr LK Advani to contest either Gandhinagar in Gujarat or Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. However Mr Advani chose the constituency in Gujarat. Down south it is a master stroke of sorts by the BJP in Tamil Nadu, where its presence is quite negligible. The party has cobbled a mega alliance of six parties including actor Vijayakanth's DMDK. The AIADMK fights alone. The DMK too doesn't have any major ally. Will that help the BJP to make a mark?
