Artist Raja Ravi Varma died in 1906, but the images he produced continue to be seen around the country - and hung in homes by people who may not even know his name. With his depiction of Gods and Goddesses, his work is a fixture in many puja rooms - but as an artist, he was also a pioneer in many ways. A collection of his lithographs, housed in Bengaluru, was shown in the city and from this month, December, the show will be travelling around the country and internationally too.
