Andhra Pradesh rain: Farmers worst hit, crops in 5 lakh hectare damaged
Andhra Pradesh is going through tough times after Cyclone Nilam and days of continuous heavy rain. Since yesterday, though the rain has stopped, low-lying areas are still sumberged. Several roads are submerged and villages cut off. Farmers are the worst hit as standing crop in more than five lakh hectares in coastal region has been damaged. Hundreds of acres of paddy fields are under in waist deep waters.
