At 9 pm on Wednesday, the waters of the Godavari flowed into the Krishna, linking two big rivers, a 50-year-old dream come true for Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did the honours, switching on a pump after performing puja at Ibrahimpatnam near Vijayawada.
