Anna Hazare arrested, sent to Tihar Jail

Anna Hazare has been sent to Tihar Jail, where the anti-corruption crusader will be lodged in a normal cell. Ironically, Suresh Kalmadi is also a resident of Tihar's Jail Number Four - arrested over many charges of corruption in CWG projects. To add to the irony, his fellow-activist and Magsaysay award winner Arvind Kejriwal will be in a ward that houses DMK leader A Raja, also in jail on charges of corruption.
