Anna shouldn't have been taken to Tihar: Congress minister
With the government being pushed to a corner over the arrest of veteran social activist Anna Hazare, voices from within the government now seem to be in disagreement with the way the situation was handled. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ashwani Kumar told NDTV that Mr Hazare, perhaps, shouldn’t have been taken to Tihar Jail. Instead, the 74-year-old Gandhian could have been detained in a rest house.
