Anna: The man versus the movement
His high-decibel campaign against corruption captured the imagination of an entire country alright. But 74-year-old Gandhian and social activist Anna Hazare has also found many critics who contend that his following, unlike Gandhi's, is restricted. Worse, many fear that his attempts to pressurise Parliament during his recent fast could set a bad precedent and demean the Constitution.
