The killing of a second policeman in Uttar Pradesh in less than a month has sparked outrage with the opposition targeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directly. 11 people have now been arrested in the murder of constable Suresh Vats, nine others for rioting and destruction of public property. But despite police claims of swift action in the case, opposition leaders in UP launched a scathing attack on Yogi Adityanath and UP's BJP government, asking just how many policemen would die at the hands of mobs in the state. Earlier this month, police inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was killed by a mob in Western UP's Bulandshahr.
