Anupam Kher To Critics Who Called Ram Temple Ceremony "Political Project"
"God is not dependent on a political project. It has not been easy. Court gave a verdict. It's shameful and sad that we had to go to court for God... Those saying it's for political mileage, I don't think that's fair. They should have come for it. They should also take mileage out of it. People will say even they have come," said veteran actor Anupam Kher. Terming religion a personal matter and calling the Ram Temple a "political project" of the BJP, the Congress declined to attend the grand event planned for January 22 in Ayodhya.
