At the centre of controversy after Congress alleged that he was linked to 450-crore power scam in Arunachal Pradesh, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju launched a fierce counter attack. On The Buck Stops Here, the minister said that the Congress will be in trouble now for the contracts were made in their regime. "Anybody can be bhaiyya," Mr Rijiju told NDTV about being referred to as "brother" in a taped conversation released by the Congress. The Congress says the tape nails Mr Rijiju's role in the 'scam'. NDTV cannot verify the authenticity of the tape. Asked about P Chidambaram and Rahul Gandhi's comments on notes ban, Mr Rijiju said, 'Chidambaram is right, it is a calamity but for the Congress party and black money hoarders'.
