AP acid attack victim dies in hospital
Twenty one-year-old final year engineering student Swapnika died early on Wednesday, three weeks after suffering an acid attack that left her with 55 per cent fourth degree burns. "Till the day before yesterday, Swapnika was very spirited. She had a little pain. Then she started breathing very hard. The respiratory failure had then started," said Dr Surendra Rao, Medical Administrator, Yashoda Hospital.
